Mother Anser is a Greater White-fronted goose with a genus name of Anser.  She loves to write stories and nerdy rhymes about mathematics, science, literature, music, art, engineering and computers. 

Mother Anser Storybooks and Nerdy Rhymes is intended to be fun! Mother Anser wants her goslings to enjoy reading  and learn about many things, but mostly, how to think for themselves. As you migrate through life, knowledge will help you navigate your own journey. Knowledge will help you adapt to changes, and changes come with each new season and each new generation. Mother Anser wants you to know that acquiring knowledge can be fun!

Suzanne Florence received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She is married and has four children. She worked in the electrical utility business for 38 years and is currently a contract engineer for an engineering firm. She is also a certified yoga instructor, but mostly, she is an avid reader and loves encouraging children to read and find their passion for learning about everything.

The logo was designed by Emily Priddy. Emily is also responsible for all of the illustrations in the book, "Flyin' Colors," available on Bookshop.org. Emily received a degree in mathematics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She currently works as a Pharmacy Tech, but her passion is creating beautiful art out of trash. "Flyin' Colors" is available at Bookshop.org.  A fly searches for a color that makes her feel beautiful. In her quest, she meets several animals that share their favorite activities in order to help the fly discover what really makes her happy.
